Termites cause serious structural damage to wood-baring buildings/structures. If you think you have a termite infestation it is important to have your home treated right away. Termites are never fun to deal with, but thankfully there are ways to eliminate them.
Chemical treatments: there are two different types of chemical treatments – repellants and non-repellants.
Repellants: they are usually used inside the house and the soil around the home. They create a barrier that termites can’t easily cross. You apply the chemicals to as many entry points as possible.
Non-repellants: these chemicals can’t be detected by termites so they don’t know they are burrowing in a chemically treated area. The chemical can be transmitted from termite to termite making the chemicals even more effective.
If you notice cracks or holes from termite swarmers, you can cover the hole with tape until we arrive for more permanent treatment. When we encounter cracks, or exit holes from swarmers, the area gets treated and sealed with a foam.
